Family therapy
The Center concentrates on the whole family, including the children, paying attention to relations within the whole family, i.e., both the parents and the children. In these cases, the client is not an individual or a couple, but the entire family, a family system, whether the whole family or one member takes consultations. A family is a small yet complex groups of individuals. The ways of treating “sick” families may therefore be rather complicated. Children often are in the middle of everything and often indicate the possible “disease”. The objective of family therapy is reconstruction or restructuring of family relations and communication patterns, so that the children and the family as a whole would develop positively. In family therapy, all work methods are based on efforts to open up room for solutions finding, find ways of verifying the impact of such solutions on the family until the necessary changes are accomplished. We try to create a safe and unbiased environment for our clients and an atmosphere of understanding, while searching for new solutions.
