Autogenous training (training one’s mind to think healthy)


This is a psychotherapeutic technique based on physical and mental relaxation that is achieved through targeted therapeutic effects. It could also be defined as a state where all psychosomatic processes are coordinated to the extent of experiencing a subjectively pleasant sensation, while objectively restoring your organism’s performance. There are methods of inducing this therapeutic process and it requires state of physical calm. Only then can transformation of the state of mind be reached. Autogenous training can be, inter alia, combined with autosuggestive methods of inducing so-called passive concentration, which a very pleasant state of mind, in which the human subconsciousness is able to adopt positive suggestions in the form of creative, encouraging images oriented on solutions of personal problems.
